When are you open?
Pure Terror Scream Park is opened from Saturday September 24th, 2016 through Sunday October 30, 2016. Ticket booth opens at 7:30pm. Once you have your ticket from our ticket booth we do not close the haunted attractions until the last guest has left the property. Please check our calendar for ticket booth hours.
Are the attractions the same this year?
No, each year we redesign the attractions so it’s always a new experience. We provide Hollywood style props, set designs and special effects to bring the scariest and most extreme Haunted House to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut. Your feedback drives us to bring back bigger and better scares every year.
Do you sell souvenirs?
Yes, we sell Pure Terror t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats.
What can’t we bring inside your attractions?
No large purses or backpacks!, No smoking! No electronic cigarettes, vapes, etc. No cameras! No alcoholic beverages! No Lighters! No pets! No weapons! No food or beverages! No laser pointers or flashlights! And please turn off your phones and enjoy the scares! Entry will not be permitted to anyone in costume, mask or face paint! EVERYONE will go through a thorough security screening before entering the scream park.
Can we take pictures or video of your haunted houses?
Photography of any sort is NOT allowed in any of the haunted attractions. You are welcome (and encouraged!) to take pictures and video outside of the attractions. Anyone caught taking pictures and/or video inside any of the attractions will be escorted off the property immediately without refund.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking, electronic cigarettes, vapes, lighters, etc. are NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the property.
Do you serve alcohol?
NO, Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the property. We reserve the right to refuse entry to ANYONE at ANYTIME that is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. This is for the safety of our staff and customers.
Can I be injured at the park?
Pure Terror Scream Park has NEVER had any serious injuries at any of our attractions. Running is the main cause of minor injuries. Please make sure to follow the rules and DON’T run to ensure a safe and memorable experience! Your ticket is a license to enter at your own risk! All Patrons assume ALL risk and DANGER incidental to Pure Terror Scream Park before, during or after the event. By entering Pure Terror Scream Park, you waive any injury or talent claims and accept these terms and conditions. We STRONGLY suggest that heels and/or open toe shoes NOT be worn.
Can we be thrown out of the park for any reason?
YES, Pure Terror Scream Park has the right to refuse entry to the property for any reason deemed unsafe to the safety of our staff & guests.
Does your attraction have security?
YES, Pure Terror uses local & state police and a strict security team for this event. Upon entry to the scream park, each person will be thoroughly checked and go through our metal detectors. There is a strong possibility that any contraband will NOT be returned. Please leave all lighters, alcohol, pocket knives/weapons, guns, tasers at home or in your vehicle. No exceptions.
Are there any hotels close to Pure Terror Scream Park and do they have special rates for your vistors?
Yes, Special discounted rates will be announced soon.
When are coupons valid?
Only on Sundays on specific dates. Please read coupon carefully for valid dates.
Where can I find coupons?
Coupons can be found at many local Restaurants & Gas Stations. You should also subscribe to our mailing list for special notices and offers.
Once I’ve used my Ticket can I use it to visit again?
NO, a new ticket is required for each visit.
Are your attractions open if it rains?
Is there a lot of smoke in the haunted attractions?
YES, Pure Terror has fog machines in operation in our haunted attractions. If you find the smoke too intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction.
Can I go into the haunted attractions if I’m pregnant?
Pure Terror is not recommended for guests who are pregnant, have heart conditions or are in general poor health.
Is Pure Terror wheelchair accessible?
No, Pure Terror is located in the woods with steep inclines, declines and uneven terrain which would make wheelchair access very difficult. We are a seasonal amusement event therefore we are not required to be ADA in the state of New York.
Are there any age restrictions?
Due to the nature and strong themes of our attractions, Pure Terror Scream Park is recommended for adults and teens, NOT Children. Admission of Children under 12 will be at the discretion of the parent(s). Parents know their children better than anyone else, we leave it up to you to make that choice. Pure Terror Scream Park DOES NOT offer special prices for children. There are no refunds for ANYONE who decides to not wait in line or that does not finish the haunt. Pure Terror has many emergency exits in case anyone gets too scared to continue the haunted attraction. Carrying babies though the Haunted Attraction IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Park Closure & Ticket Information
Pure Terror Scream Park is an outdoor attraction, we cannot control the weather. In the unlikely event that weather forces Pure Terror Scream Park to close for the evening, all existing tickets must be exchanged for a Rain check ticket before exiting the park that can be used on any other evening for the remainder of our current season. All patrons acknowledge and accept that tickets must be used for the 2016 season… there are NO REFUNDS!
